Target.com
Need a set of wheels for you or your tyke? Target is a great spot! And, if you’re shopping from home, Target online is easy to use and offers the same great deals as the popular department store.
To shop bikes at Target, visit www.target.com and search ‘Bikes’ on the homepage’s search bar function. (Finding bikes within Target’s categories proves a little difficult). On the next page you’ll see, you can view all of Target’s bikes –which range from youth, to exercise, to adult.
Though the prices are extremely low (the most expensive listed on the site is a men’s bike for $183 USD), the selection is meager and offers few options within each bike category.
If you want to shop Target for bikes because of its low prices, try the store – which has more options and the same prices. If you need to shop from home, though, Target should be browsed even so – because of its low prices. Who knows, you might find something!

Most adult bikes on Amazon range from $100-300 USD, and the kid’s bikes from $25-100 USD. Though some bikes are priced higher, it’s the way Amazon works that makes these prices flexible. buy.com
Buy.com, an internet superstore full of various products, is great sites to find low-priced bikes for adults and kids, but only if you’re willing to do a little digging.
To shop for bikes on Buy.com, type ‘bicycles’ or ‘bikes’ in the search bar function at the top of the homepage (it’s complicated to find the bikes within a Buy.com category). When you receive your results, you get not only bikes but all bike-related products, and there’s no way of narrowing your search specifically. So, you have to browse these options to find the bike you want.
Though this is inconvenient, the site does have a few good picks – like the Huffy Alpine 26" Women's All-Terrain Bicycle for only $119 USD, reduced from $159 USD.
Don’t expect to find a lot for bikes at Buy.com, but if you’re willing to search, be prepared to find a steal or two. This site is recommended if you want a large selection – it should be browsed more as a supplement to other retailers.
costco.com
Costco, a supermarket and retailer that allows you to save by buying in bulk, isn’t the best choice when shopping for cheap bikes –and we’ll tell you why.
When you visit Costco.com, you’ll enter ‘bikes’ or ‘bicycles’ in the search bar function on the homepage. What appears is only a dozen or so options! And even when you click on more specific types of bikes, such as mountain or BMX bikes, you get even fewer options (for example, when you click ‘Mountain Bikes’, there are only FIVE available options). And, what’s more, the prices range from $250 up, whereas other sites offer bikes for as low as $99 USD.
Overall, Costco may be a great choice for food or other entities, but bikes? Try another site!
ebay.com
Ebay, a popular online auction site, is a great choice if you’re looking to save on clothing, books, and other miscellaneous items, because it allows you to choose the amount you bid (and therefore, pay) for an item (or how much you don’t pay at all). You can also choose to buy an option Buy It Now, which means you pay the fixed price offered on the item by its seller. You can also choose which seller you buy from, furthering your role in the buying process. But buying a bike on Ebay doesn’t prove easy or efficient – Ebay lacks a good bike selection. For the shopper who’s really willing to search, however, there are a few deals present on the site.
To shop bikes on Ebay, visit www.ebay.com and enter ‘bikes’ or ‘bicycles’ in the search function. What comes up is both bikes and biking apparel and gear. Since the search is the most specific result-narrowing you’ll get, you have to comb through these results to find your ideal bike. This is why the site is discouraged unless you’re really hunting for a bargain bike.
Ebay does have some steals, however, like the Vintage Schwinn Tempo Racing Bike Bicycle w/Access 53cm for only $99 USD. So, shop Ebay if you’re determined! Good luck!
samsclub.com

While the selection is somewhat small, most prices are moderate, ranging from $150-200 USD. Shipping is also included with most bikes. And you can find bargain deals (for such high-quality bikes) like the Mantis Beach Hopper 26" Ladies Cruiser for only $184 USD or the Mantis® Seer MTB 101 Unisex Adult Mountain Bike for just $174 USD.
Buyers beware that the Sam’s Club bike selection is modest, but the bikes are decent and the prices comparable, so this site is definitely worth a look.
